Customer Account Representative

We are seeking a Customer Account Representative with a solid understanding of the medical billing process, medical billing systems and Accounts Receivable systems. The job will require independent discretion and judgment to provide direct access for high profile customers assigned to represent. Must have analytical and problem solving skills, multi-tasking ability are essential to being successful in this position. The candidate must be self motivated, self-starter and performs duties independently and only under general supervision and does not require daily guidance. Candidate may travel independently to represent XIFIN to the customer between 1 to 3 weeks a month during different phases of a project.

Specific Duties

  • Provide direct access for high profile customers assigned to represent
  • Analyze and review customer financial packages and AR metrics
  • Develop comparative metrics that are meaningful to clients
  • Provide on-site customer training and support
  • Manage assigned accounts
  • Use independent judgment to escalate customer issues within XIFIN to appropriate parties
  • Provide post-installations support including claims tracking and resolution
  • Travel to customer site for installations and support
  • Assist in customer training and support desk activities
  • Participate in the smooth transition of accounts over to customer services department
  • Assist with the payor setup process of customers
  • Assist with customer system configuration and setup MARS training
  • Participate in customer service calls
  • Develop and maintain customer related SOPs
  • Provide customers with guidance to XIFIN policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate easily to all organizational levels, both orally and in writing
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of general business processes and concepts
  • Skills in planning, organizing, and adapting within a multi-tasking environment
  • Knowledge of medical billing and workflow management
  • Willingness to learn the XIFIN application
  • Appreciation for the importance of customer service
  • Experience with PCs and PC tools (Excel, Word)
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • Domain knowledge of medical billing and/or clinical lab billing is a major plus.
  • Prior experience with internet applications
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion
