SQL Database Analyst

You will focus on customer databases as you work with data architects, developers, and business analysts to extract and deliver data from both OLTP databases and data warehouses.

Specific Duties

  • Query and update Oracle database
  • Indentify missing/incorrect data and correct as appropriate
  • Design, develop, and support solutions for analytical and financial reporting
  • Develop detailed understanding of xifin database structure
  • Develop SQL to address customer requests for operational and financial information
  • Assist in customer training and support desk activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • SQL proficient; must be able to interpret and write complex scripts
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Loader, SQL, PL/SQL
  • B.S. in a technical discipline, certification, or other formal training
  • Problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in database design, reporting, and analytics
  • Must have strong architectural, technical, design and analytical skills
  • Appreciation for the importance of customer service

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the medical industry
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable systems
  • Familiarity with Star Team or similar bug tracking system
  • Must have experience understanding financial reporting requirements and development of financial reports.
  • Prior experience in designing and developing reports using SQL or other reporting tools
