Job Title: Client Services / Training Representative

Overview:

XIFIN, Inc® provides a highly automated, web-based application with embedded infrastructure services to support clinical labs with accounts receivable and financial management solution. As an Application Service Provider, XIFIN is responsible for providing our customers with a robust software solution. We are located in Del Mar, off of the Del Mar Heights exit from I-5, with easy access from I-805 and State Route 56.

Job Description:

The Customer Service group plays a key role to ensure our customer can accurately bill for medical laboratory services and collect for their services in a timely manner by maintaining and updating customer specific and regulatory data in each customer's database on an on-going basis. The Customer Service group provides telephone support to our customers from 6am to 7pm Pacific time Monday through Friday to answer questions, help solve technical and functional issues, identify missing/incorrect data and correct the data in the customer’s environment.

XIFIN is seeking an experienced individual with a solid understanding of the medical billing process, medical billing systems and Accounts Receivable systems. The job requires constant interaction with customers; excellent analytical and problem solving skills and multi-tasking ability are essential to being successful in this position. The candidate must be motivated, a self-starter and works well under indirect supervision. Candidate will travel between 40% - 60% of the time to customer sites.

Duties Include:

    • Travel to customer site for customer service and support
    • Answer customer telephone calls
    • Troubleshoot customer issues, analyze data and recommend courses of action
    • Customer training
    • Customer installation tasks as assigned and on-site new customer training
    • Review payor rejections and take appropriate actions
    • Gathers facts, analyzes data, and recommends sources of action
    • Perform payor setups

Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • B.S. in technical discipline, Business school or other formal training
    • Ability to communicate easily to all organizational levels, both orally and in writing
    • Sound knowledge and understanding of general business processes and concepts
    • Skills in planning, organizing, and adapting within a multi-tasking environment
    • Knowledge of medical billing and work flow management
    • Willingness to learn the XIFIN application
    • Appreciation for the importance of customer service
    • Experience with PCs and PC tools (Excel, Word)
    • Good oral and written communication skills

Desirable:

    • Prior experience with internet applications
    • Works well in a team environment
    • SQL Proficiency
