Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will take business change requests, elicit the technical requirements, and then design and develop the solutions to enhance or correct an Internet technology-based accounts receivable software package. The Canidate must be proficient in Java J2EE and also be able to work on multiple assignments independently, with a thorough understanding of SQL and databases. Will have thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation support.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline
• Proficient in Java and SQL
• At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer
• Familiarity with using a change control software application, preferably StarTeam
• Ability to work in all phases of the software development life-cycle
• Demonstrated excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to small groups

Desirable:

• Financial background
• Laboratory or other medical industry background
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as JUnit
• JSP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, or SWING experience
• Experience with X.12 EDI transactions
