Job Description:
We are seeking a candidate to research and resolve Level II customer calls regarding issues with a
medical billing software application, review logs and reports to ensure system is performing optimally
according to specification, query and update Oracle database and system files to detect and resolve issues.
Duties Inlcude:
- Research and resolve Level 2 customer calls
- Review logs and reports
- Query and update Oracle database
- Assist in running jobs and transferring files between systems
- Identify missing/incorrect data and correct as appropriate
- Assist in solving technical and functional billing issues
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and based on business needs
Required:
- SQL proficient; must be able to write complicated scripts
- Problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Good multi-tasking skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Medical Billing knowledge or medical lab industry knowledge
- Programming experience, especially if in Java
- Oracle expertise
- UNIX experience
- Familiarity with StarTeam or similar bug tracking system
- Experience with White-box software testing
