To make it easier for providers to complete the registration process on the secure provider portal at www.triwest.com/provider , TriWest Healthcare Alliance has enhanced it to allow instant access after registering. Providers can now use two referral/authorization numbers for authentication and the activation e-mail has been eliminated in order to allow for instant access. Registered users on www.triwest.com/provider can take advantage of the following benefits:

• Verify patient eligibility
• Research covered benefits and check referral/authorization and medical review requirements for specific procedures
• Submit referrals/authorizations online and check their status regardless of how the request was submitted
• Submit claims online and check claim status regardless of how the claim was submitted
• Download remittance advices
• Claims correspondence/Webmail (coming soon)
• Enhanced claim search capabilities
