Lâle White

Executive Chairman and CEO

Lâle White is a nationally recognized expert in the field of medical financial management and regulatory compliance, with over 25 years of experience in information systems development and medical billing. She lectures extensively on these topics and has consulted for major laboratories and laboratory associations throughout the U.S. She worked with HCFA and the US Office of the Inspector General to develop the first OIG Model Compliance Program. Lâle was previously Vice President - Finance of Laboratory Corporation of America (NYSE: LH), one of the largest clinical reference laboratories in the US, and its predecessor National Health Laboratories (NYSE: NHLI), where she led the software development of several accounts receivable, inventory, cost accounting and financial management systems for the laboratory industry. Lâle has a BA in finance and an MBA from Florida International University. She is a member of the Board of Directors for CombiMatrix Corporation, a molecular diagnostics company specializing in DNA-based testing services for pre- and postnatal developmental disorders.

Dean Mihas

Dean Mihas

Dean Mihas joined GTCR in 2001 and is currently a Managing Director of the firm. Previously, Dean was CEO and co-founder of Delray Farms, LLC, a specialty food retailer. Prior to Delray Farms, Dean was with McKinsey & Company. Dean holds an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School and a BS with high distinction in finance and economics from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dean is head of the healthcare group at GTCR and has been instrumental in building the firm’s expertise in life sciences and medical devices. He is currently a Director of ConvergEx, Cord Blood Registry, Crealta Pharmaceuticals, Curo Health Services, Devicor Medical Products and Sterigenics. Dean was previously a director of past GTCR investments, including Actient Pharmaceuticals, ATI Physical Therapy, Ovation Pharmaceuticals, Managed Healthcare Associates and Polypore. Dean’s interest in the community is evident by his strong support of WBEZ Chicago Public Radio, a noncommercial, public radio station financed primarily by listener contributions, where he serves as a board member.

Mark Anderson

Mark Anderson

Mark Anderson joined GTCR in 2000 and is currently a Managing Director of the firm. He previously worked at Gracie Capital and at Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Mark currently is a director of CAMP Systems, Global Traffic Network, IQNavigator, Mondee, Rural Broadband Investments, Land Lease Group and Vocus. In addition, Mark was previously a director of GTCR’s past investment Landmark Aviation and was instrumental in other GTCR investments, including Skylight Financial, Solera and Transaction Network Services. Mark is active in education, serving on the board of the Chicago Foundation for Education, a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the educational experience of Chicago’s public school children. In addition, Mark is a member of the Chicago-area Jefferson Scholars Selection Committee for University of Virginia.

Ben Daverman

Ben Daverman

Ben Daverman joined GTCR in 2008 as a Vice President. Prior to joining GTCR, he worked as a venture capitalist at Alta Partners, as well as an investment banking Associate at JMP Securities and an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan (formerly Hambrecht & Quist). He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in history magna cum laude from Colgate University. Ben also holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from the School of Applied Sciences & Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently is a Director of Cord Blood Registry, Crealta Pharmaceuticals, Devicor Medical Products, Maravai Life Sciences, Sterigenics and XIFIN. Ben was previously a Director of past GTCR investments such as Actient Pharmaceuticals and GeneraMedix. In addition, Ben was heavily involved in GTCR’s investment in Graceway Pharmaceuticals.

Carl Hull

Carl Hull

Carl Hull is a proven industry leader, with over 30 years of experience in the diagnostics and life sciences industries. Having spent 14 years at Abbott Laboratories in a variety of sales, marketing and general management positions, Carl then took on leadership roles at Ventana Medical Systems (acquired by Roche), Applied Imaging (now part of Danaher) and Applied Biosystems (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific). Carl holds a BA from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Dan Spirek

Dan Spirek

Dan Spirek co-founded The TriZetto Group, Inc. and served as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Enterprise Strategy & Communications. Other senior leadership roles at TriZetto include Executive Vice President of Integrated Health Solutions, Chief Solutions Officer, President of Transformation Services Division, SVP of Integrated Health Solutions and SVP of Solutions Architecture. Prior to TriZetto, Dan served as Vice President of Information Services for FHP/PacifiCare, a managed care organization. He has also served in various information technology management positions at managed care organizations TakeCare Inc. and Comprecare Inc., and a consulting position at Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture). Dan received his bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Colorado School of Business Administration. Dan also on the board of directors at NextHealth Technologies, a healthcare analytics company.
