835 Remittance Advices Erroneously Reporting Copay Amount, CR37889 – November 15, 2013

A defect has been discovered in the 835 reporting that was introduced with a recent system upgrade. The 835 is erroneously reporting the copay amount as a CO96 and it should be reporting it as a PR3. This issue affects all 835s where a copay amount exists on the claim record. We will notify you when this issue has been corrected.
