Health Net Federal Services protest Tricare contract awards worth billions

Several companies, including Health Net Federal Services, are protesting the Defense Department’s decision to award the next set of Tricare contracts to Humana and Health Net. Health Net Federal Services, which now manages the Tricare North Region and was awarded the contract to manage Tricare’s West region, filed a protest late Friday over the Defense Department’s decision to give the East region contract to Humana Government Business.
