Improved Online Referral/Authorization Status Check Now Available

TriWest has made improvements to its online referral/authorization status check tool at www.triwest.com/provider to make it easier for providers to check the status of their referral and authorization requests. Among the enhancements are:

• The capability to view authorizations for all locations
• A modified date range search with start and end calendar icons
• When searching by “All Patients,” you can narrow search by searching by Provider Last Name or National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• When searching by “One Patient,” you can narrow search by Patient Name and date of birth (DOB), authorization number or sponsor Social Security Number.

In addition, diagnosis codes and descriptions were added within the authorization details.
