Reimbursement Change Effective November 1, 2013

On November 1, 2013 Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) will eliminate the two percent reduction from the published fee schedules. This reimbursement reduction has applied to many services since its 2010 implementation. The estimated fiscal impact of this change is an annualized increase in payments of approximately $2.5 million. The impacted services include:  Professional Services and  Clinical Laboratory. Professional services reimbursement will be increased by approximately $1.8 million as a result of the repeal of the 2% reduction described above.
