UnitedHealthcare Community Plan changes to policies
June 28, 2016To effectively provide claim data for individual state Medicaid encounters reporting requirements and to better align with CMS guidelines, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan will no longer correct recognized provider miscoding. Instead, they will issue denials in certain instances relating to the following professional reimbursement policies: Laboratory Services Policy, Professional/Technical Component Policy and Rebundling Policy. These changes are effective for claims processed on or after May 21, 2016.
