California – Services Covered Under PE4PW

Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PE4PW) is designed for California residents who believe they are pregnant and who appear eligible, but do not have Medi-Cal coverage.

PE4PW offers immediate, temporary health care related to pregnancy, including abortion and miscarriage, as well as prescription drugs for conditions related to pregnancy. Most doctor, clinic, and emergency room visits are covered. Providers should review the PE4PW Billing Codes to confirm reimbursable CPT codes.
