Through analysis of CMS identified vulnerabilities, data analysis, medical review of claims and other reports, potential service specific and/or provider specific inappropriate billing is identified. The Prepayment Medical Review Log provides a list of the most current prepayment reviews being conducted by the Part B Medical Review Department.
