Fee schedule updates moving to July 1

Beginning in 2015, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) will transition to a July 1 fee schedule update. Fee schedules are currently distributed with a January 1 effective date. This change will allow additional time to analyze and update payment methodology and fee schedules, as the necessary information from CMS is often not received until mid-November. All fee schedule updates that were delivered with an effective date of January 1, 2015 will remain in effect through June 30, 2015. New reimbursement notices, which will become effective on July 1, 2015, will be delivered 60 days prior to July 1 for institutional providers and 30 days prior for professional providers.
