FPACT – Monkeypox Vaccines and Laboratory Test Added as Family PACT Benefits

Effective retroactively for dates of service on or after August 17, 2022, through the end of the federal monkeypox (MPX) public health emergency, MPX vaccines and testing are Family Planning, Access, Care and Treatment (Family PACT) benefits when provided as part of a family planning visit, as a family planning-related service.

An Erroneous Payment Correction (EPC) will be implemented to reprocess denied claims with dates of service on or after the effective date of this billing policy.
