Medi-Cal Fiscal Year 2013 – 2014 Checkwrite Hold for Specific Provider Payments

Specific checkwrites scheduled for fiscal year 2013 – 2014 will be delayed until the start of fiscal year 2014 – 2015. Payments to providers who render services through Medi-Cal funded programs scheduled for the June 19, 2014, checkwrites will be deferred to July 3, 2014, assuming enactment of the 2014 – 15 California State Budget Act on July 1, 2014. Payments to providers who render services through Medi-Cal and state-funded programs scheduled for the June 26, 2014, checkwrites will be deferred to July 3, 2014, assuming enactment of the 2014 – 15 California State Budget Act on July 1, 2014.
