Medi-Cal – Reprocessing of claims forselect ICD-10 diagnosis code Z28.3

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) recently updated the effective “enddate” in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) cross walk file for ICD-10 Diagnosis code Z283 for Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) Virus. In retrospect of this update, some claims for dates or service (DOS) on or after were erroneously paid.
