Microorganisms Using Nucleic Acid Probes non-covered as of 9/1/2014

Policy 548 was placed on BCBSAL website, AlabamaBlue.com/providers, in November 2013 as a draft for providers to review and submit comments. After review of this policy, the following CPT codes will become non-covered effective September 1, 2014. In addition, CPT code 87500 will now be covered effective September 1, 2014.
