MolDX Alert: AMA CPT 2015 Coding Changes for Jun. 2015

Effective January 1, 2015 MolDX will include new CPT codes 81246, 81288, 81318, 81410-81471, 81519, 0006M, 0007M, and 0008M. Many of the new code descriptions more accurately match tests reported in 2014 with NOC CPT code 81479. Although the MolDX Team has compared the application information for all tests submitted with 81479 to the new code descriptions, they want to confirm these findings with the respective labs. To ensure a smooth transition, labs should compare all tests currently reported with an NOC code to the new code descriptions for possible changes.
