Multiple Procedure Payment Reduction effective 9/13/14

Humana applies multiple procedure payment reduction (MPPR) to Diagnostic Cardiovascular Services and Radiology/ Diagnostic Imaging Services for the technical components. In some cases, Humana currently applies MPPR on a post-payment basis. However, effective Sept. 13, 2014, Humana will begin applying MPPR at the time of initial adjudication or redetermination of professional claims.
