Presumptive Eligibility Program for Pregnant Women – New Benefit

Effective for dates of service on or after November 1, 2012, the Presumptive Eligibility (PE) program for pregnant women is adding CPT code 87147 (culture typing; immunologic method, other than immunofluorescence [eg, agglutination grouping], per antiserum) as a new Medi-Cal benefit.
