Pricing Molecular Pathology Codes

Preliminary information from sources at Cigna indicate that the payor has priced the 2012 Molecular Pathology codes based on utilization and pricing information provided by several contracted labs. For 2013, Cigna is in the process of pricing codes using crosswalking methodology; it plans to cover MAAAs codes, but pricing isn’t finalized yet.
