Streptococcus Amplified Probe Technique Code Added to CLIA-Waived List

Effective for dates of service on or after January 1, 2016, CPT code 87651 (streptococcus, group A, amplified probe technique) is reimbursable as a CLIA waived test when performed with a CLIA-waived test kit and billed with modifier QW.
