US Task Force Releases Recommendations for Prostate Cancer Screening

The US Preventive Services Task Force said today that men aged 55 to 59 should decide with their clinicians whether to pursue prostate specific antigen-based cancer screening.

The update and its recommendations are supported by an evidence report and systematic review, and it aligns the USPSTF with American Cancer Society and the American Urological Association.
