Improving Patient Care Through Multi-disciplinary Teams

A Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) meeting is a form of coordinated care that involves communication and collaboration among diagnostics specialists, including pathologists and radiologists, and oncologists and other clinicians. The goal is to provide better care and outcomes at reduced expense by providing clinicians with practical, actionable information.

XIFIN ProNet MDT provides the ability to access and display imaging and encounter content from wherever it is stored, including pathology and radiology laboratory information systems (LIS/RIS), and picture archiving communication systems (PACS). Content is integrated and presented in a single aggregated dashboard view that enables better collaboration across the patient care team. Cross-specialty teams (radiology, anatomic and molecular pathology, and oncology) benefit from XIFIN ProNet MDT’s automated digital workflow and can more efficiently and effectively connect, capture, annotate, and report on data, across campus or across the globe.
