Notal Vision is the first diagnostic services company to extend eye disease management from the clinic to the home and improve vision outcomes. The Notal Vision Diagnostic Clinic currently monitors over 6,500 patients with the ForeseeHome intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) monitoring program in a market space of 3.8 million diagnosed patients. The entirely remote program has come into the spotlight with advent of the pandemic, Notal Vision’s clinic seeing a 70% increase in patient referrals since February. The clinic is also preparing for the introduction of a new remote monitoring service with a home-based optical coherence tomography (OCT) device. The system will help address the high unmet monitoring need for physicians and their patients alongside treatment for wet AMD. Employing XIFIN’s expertise now will help the clinic appropriately scale to meet the increased claim and payor needs that will inevitably follow the expanded remote monitoring services.

The platform’s portals allow Notal Vision to more effectively support both patients and clients by enabling them to determine insurance eligibility, estimate out-of-pocket costs, submit supporting documentation and promote enhanced communications and data exchange capabilities.
