19 codes no longer payable as preventive services

Based on the national health care reform legislation, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan completed an analysis of our current medical policy for CPT and HCPCS codes that are considered payable as preventive services. The following services are now considered medical and will no longer be payable when billed with a preventive diagnosis code, effective Feb. 1, 2011.
