AMA: New 2023 CPT code set includes burden-reducing revisions
October 1, 2022In total, next year’s CPT code set will see 393 editorial changes, including 225 new codes, 75 deletions, and 93 revisions. There will be 10,969 codes that describe the medical procedures and services. The code set will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2023.
