Ambiguous Gender Specific Coding

MDME has corrected the issue where some claims were paying incorrectly when there was a discrepancy with the diagnosis codes or CPT/HCPC codes, and a MaineCare member’s gender. Affected claims will be reprocessed. No provider action is needed.
