Blue Medicare Providers: Copies of CLIA Certificates Needed
June 28, 2016Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) is requesting that providers participating in their Medicare Advantage networks (Blue Medicare HMOSM and Blue Medicare PPOSM) submit a copy of their practice’s Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certificate. This request applies to all CLIA-certified providers, and is necessary to validate your current CLIA status within their system. If you have already sent a copy of your CLIA certificate since March 1, 2016, please do not submit a duplicate copy.
