Changes and Updates to Credentials

Beginning August 1, 2016, NCTracks will begin receiving monthly files from the North Carolina (NC) Medical Board for license renewals for physician (MD), doctor of osteopathy (DO), physician assistant (PA), and Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) providers. The files received will be used during the credentialing processes and to update provider records. Providers will no longer need to update their MD, DO, PA, and AA license data. The expiration date will be updated as long as the license number on the provider’s record is correct (and matches the license number listed with the NC Medical Board).
