Comprehensive Error Rate Testing Program (CERT) Claim Identification Tool (CID) is now available for providers

MAC for Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania CERT is a program developed by CMS to randomly audit claims monthly to determine if they processed correctly. Contractors then use this information to determine the cause of errors working to resolve them. The CERT Identification Online Tool was developed so providers can obtain a status of their CERT sampled claim. This tool provides information for sampled claims where a decision has been made by the CERT contractor (i.e, error, no error, excluded/discarded from sample, etc). It does not provide any information for claims pending at the CERT contractor.
