Digital Breast Tomosynthesis policy

On November 1, 2017, medical policy #252 Digital Breast Tomosynthesis will no longer be in effect. This procedures will process per the member’s contract benefits. The code for screening digital breast tomosynthesis (CPT* code 77063)  will also be added as preventive services for healthcare reform compliant plans to process at zero cost-sharing for the member.
