ELECTRONIC CLAIM SUBMISSION MANDATE

The State has elected to implement an electronic claim submission mandate to support a successful conversion from ICD-9 to ICD-10 which takes effect July 1, 2015.  A successful conversion will allow provider claims to be accepted, processed, and adjudicated timely and accurately, reducing potential cash flows challenges for Medicaid providers.
