Final CY 2018 Drug Testing Codes

Commenters on the 2018 PAMA regulations, requested clarity on the HCPCS codes that laboratories should use for drugs of abuse testing. For CY 2018, laboratories must use HCPCS codes 80305 through 80307 when billing for presumptive drugs of abuse testing and HCPCS codes G0480 through G0483 when billing for definitive drugs of abuse testing. Additional HCPCS codes for drugs of abuse testing are G0659, 0006U, and 0007U.
