Gender Specification Removed from BCCTP Aid Codes

Gender specification has been removed from Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program (BCCTP) aid codes. All individuals, regardless of identified gender, who have met the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) screening criteria, or were screened by a CDC provider, are eligible for breast and cervical cancer treatment. Additionally, individuals under 65 years of age and known to Medi-Cal as lacking satisfactory immigration status are not eligible for BCCTP Presumptive Eligibility.
