Medi-Cal Benefits Identification Card Number Available on AEVS

Providers are now able to obtain a recipient’s Medi-Cal Benefits Identification Card number on the Automated Eligibility Verification System (AEVS) when checking eligibility with a valid Social Security Number and date of birth. The Telephone Service Center no longer provides this information, as it is available on AEVS, Point of Service devices and Transaction Services on the Medi-Cal website.
