Medi-Cal Update: Family PACT Update: Frequency Limit Update for Laboratory Codes

Effective for dates of service on or after September 1, 2018, the Family Planning, Access, Care and Treatment (Family PACT) Program updated the frequency limits for CPT-4 codes 87491 (infectious agent detection by nucleic acid [DNA or RNA]; Chlamydia trachomatis, amplified probe technique) and 87591 (…Neisseria gonorrhoeae, amplified probe technique) to three tests per recipient, per day.
