Medi-Cal Webinar Classes

Medi-Cal is pleased to announce a new training product, Webinar (Web-based seminar) classes. Beginning May 2010, new training sessions will allow providers to learn from Medi-Cal trainers online. Providers will be able to efficiently communicate with trainers through streaming audio and video in a virtual classroom.

Providers will be able to view the material being presented, print documents and ask questions. This new initiative will offer the same classes currently presented in the training seminars.

The Webinar classes will be accessible from your home, office or any place with an Internet connection. The interactive training content will offer classes from basic Medi-Cal eligibility determination to advanced classes such as crossovers, common denials and specialty programs.

Detailed instructions and the registration process will soon be posted on the Medi-Cal Web site. Providers are encouraged to take advantage of this new and exciting initiative from Medi-Cal.
