New ICD-10 Codes Related to Vaccination Status

Effective for dates of services on or after April 1, 2022, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is implementing three new diagnosis codes to track vaccination status for COVID19:

Z28.310	Unvaccinated for COVID-19
Z28.311	Partially vaccinated for COVID-19
Z28.39	Other underimmunization status
