New Medicaid Third Party Liability Vendor – Health Management Systems, Inc.

Effective November 1, 2015, the Agency’s new Medicaid Third Party Liability (TPL) vendor will be Health Management Systems, Inc. (HMS).  The TPL unit is responsible for identifying, managing and recovering funds for claims paid for by Florida Medicaid for which a third party was liable, thereby ensuring Medicaid is the payer of last resort.  Providers may receive correspondence from HMS on behalf of the Agency, and should respond accordingly.
