Notice to all Medicaid Providers and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)-Timely Filing

This is a reminder that there is a 90-day timely filing limit for Medicaid claims, either to the contracted MCOs or to Xerox as the State’s Fee-For-Service Fiscal Agent. Timely filing limits may have been waived by the MCOs and Xerox during calendar year 2014 to provide additional flexibility during the Centennial Care transition. However, timely filing limits will again be enforced during calendar year 2015. Additionally, Providers have until March 31, 2015 to submit all claims with dates of service from 2014.
