Precertification updates for Apr. 2012

Cigna’s list of services requiring precertification was updated January 1, 2012 to include the new Molecular Pathology Tier 1 (CPT codes 81212-81355) and Tier 2 (CPT codes 81400-81408) codes. Category III Codes 0279T and 0280T eg. circulating tumor cells in blood) have also been added to the list.
