Provider Screening and Enrollment – Revalidation for Dec. 2016

The purpose of this bulletin is to remind providers of the requirement to complete revalidation of their enrollment with Nebraska Medicaid. Inactive providers, defined as providers that have not submitted claims to Nebraska Medicaid or to a Nebraska Medicaid Managed Care plan for 1 year or more, who are due but have not completed revalidation, will have their enrollment ended November 25, 2016. Active providers, defined as providers that have submitted claims to Nebraska Medicaid or to a Nebraska Medicaid Managed Care plan within the last year, who are due but have not completed revalidation by November 25, 2016 will have payments suspended until revalidation is completed. Providers MUST be enrolled and revalidated (if due) with Nebraska Medicaid prior to finalizing their credentialing and contracting with a Heritage Health plan.
