Reprocessing of Claims Billed with NCCI-Associated Modifiers

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) identified a claims processing issue affecting certain outpatient and medical claims billed with National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) associated modifiers. This issue caused claims to erroneously pay. The issue affected claims for dates of service from August 1, 2015, through September 8, 2017. No action is required on your part. Conduent will void and resubmit the affected claims. These voids will appear on Remittance Advice Details (RAD) forms beginning December 14, 2017, with RAD code 0819: Void and resubmit of claims processed in error. Corresponding resubmissions will appear on RAD forms beginning December 21, 2017, with Claim Control Number (CCN) roll number 55 (Resubmit).
