Revamped Prior Authorization and Notification App Coming Soon
August 30, 2017UHC is introducing a revamped Prior Authorization and Notification app on Link, your gateway to UnitedHealthcare’s online tools. The new version of the app will have enhanced features and an easy-to-use design developed with feedback from Link and UnitedHealthcareOnline.com users. You can use the app to check if prior authorization/notification is required, submit a prior authorization or notification request, check case status and perform a case update. The new version of the Prior Authorization and Notification app will be rolled out to users in phases. UHC will send an instruction email when it’s available to use. You’ll have at least two weeks to try the app before you will no longer be able to use the Notifications/Prior Authorizations transactions on UnitedHealthcareOnline.com and UHCWest.com.
