Updated Jan. 12, 2022 Unique CPT Codes Approved for COVID-19 Immunizations

Accepted a Category I code to report SARS-CoV-2 vaccine and immunization administration codes. Code 0073A will be used to report Pfizer booster vaccine and immunization administration for ages 5-11. Appendix Q has been updated to reflect this addition. This code was published on Jan. 12, 2022 and was effective Jan. 3, 2022. Codes 0051A, 0052A, 0053A, 0071A, 0072A, 91305, and 91307 are effective Oct. 29, 2021.
