First Coast Service Options (First Coast) analysis of the CERT error findings for their jurisdiction reveals a high error rate specifically for numerous qualitative and quantitative drug tests. As a result, First Coast implemented a local coverage determination (LCD), L36393, to provide guidance for billing and documenting these services. If your practice or facility has been assessed errors for controlled substance monitoring and drugs of abuse testing services, or if you would like to prevent impacts when billing and documenting for these services, then you will want to attend this important event.
