Outpatient Excellence: Unify Patient Trust & RCM Performance

As new, disruptive care providers strengthen their footholds, patient expectations continue to evolve. Each touchpoint with your hospital presents a key decision point – one where the patient commits to more complex, downstream acute care with your organization or goes elsewhere. Ancillary and outpatient care—from routine lab work to more complex specialty pharmacy consultations—present ideal opportunities to demonstrate the quality of care and service your hospital or health system provides. By elevating patient engagement, education, and experience in outpatient venues, you’ll not only enhance RCM performance of those departments – but also help ensure patients trust your organization when more serious clinical needs arise.

Learning Objectives

  • Link the outpatient experience to your hospital’s strategic mission and overall financial performance
  • Craft a sustainable approach to optimizing patient-centric financial performance in ancillary and outpatient services
  • Identify critical points of friction in the outpatient experience – and how to mitigate them
  • Map current healthcare and consumer drivers to patient expectations

Who Should Attend?

  • Financial leaders and revenue cycle management executives of hospitals, health systems and IDNs
  • Leadership in outpatient and ancillary services
